
Originally from Truro, Becky lives with her family in Hammonds Plains. Becky is registered and licensed with the Nova Scotia College of Physiotherapists and is a member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. She graduated in 2007 from an accredited University Physiotherapy Program at the Dalhousie School of Physiotherapy. Becky has worked in private practice for fifteen years and also has experience working with inpatient orthopedics in the hospital setting. It was Becky's dream to open a Physiotherapy clinic and she is still excited that she was able to do so with her husband/business partner in their community. Becky continues to improve her skills and knowledge by taking continuing education courses. She has taken many post-graduate courses in manual therapy, acupuncture, biomedical dry needling, McKenzie Method Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy of back assessment and treatment, diagnosing and treating movement impairments, assessment and prevention of running injuries, neuro proprioceptive and kinesiotaping taping/athletic taping and exercise prescription. She enjoys being active and spending time with her family, including her two daughters.

Nicole joined the Hammonds Plains Physiotherapy team in March 2022. Originally from a small Acadian region in western Nova Scotia, Nicole is happy to offer appointments in either English or French. She studied at Université Sainte-Anne before completing her MSc(Physiotherapy) program at Dalhousie University in 2015. Since graduation, she has had opportunities to practice physiotherapy in multiple settings – outpatient clinics, hospital inpatient units, and home visits in the community. Nicole has been able to treat many different injuries and conditions: orthopedics (including many sports injuries in varsity-level athletes), concussions and post-concussion syndrome, burns, MVA, and many more. In order to treat acute and chronic injuries, Nicole combines the use of education, manual therapy, home exercises, clinic-based exercises, and modalities (including acupuncture and dry needling). She has completed courses in dry needling, acupuncture, advanced functional needling, concussion/vestibular rehabilitation, and laser therapy. Having a background in competitive dancing, Nicole enjoys participating in various physical activities with her family!

Vicki joined the Hammonds Plains Physiotherapy team in March 2018. She is originally from Happy Valley - Goose Bay, Newfoundland and Labrador. She loves the outdoors including hiking, camping, snowshoeing, skiing and running with her dog Jesse! She completed a Bachelor of Kinesiology at Memorial University in 2012 and then moved to Halifax to complete her Master’s of Physiotherapy at Dalhousie University in 2014. She has experience in a rural hospital setting as well as private clinic(s) in the city. She is passionate about giving the best quality care to her clients and is continuously enrolling in further education courses. To date, she has completed courses in acupuncture, neural mobility, and dry needling and has plans to complete more courses in manual therapy. Her focus is on treating the whole client and ensuring they are well educated to better manage their injuries.

Jen joined the Hammonds Plains Physiotherapy team in July 2025. Jen is a dedicated physiotherapist with over 17 years of experience in private practice. She graduated from Acadia University with a Bachelor of Kinesiology in 2004, then went on to complete her Master of Science in Physiotherapy as part of Dalhousie’s very first MSc(PT) class in 2008—where she was also proud to receive the Hazel Lloyd Memorial Prize for clinical and academic excellence. Jen offers a well-rounded and hands-on approach to patient care. She is passionate about delivering patient-centered treatment that is rooted in clinical reasoning, education, and individualized goal setting. Her strong belief in empowering patients has made her a trusted provider in her community. Jen has training in manual therapy, acupuncture, cupping, gua sha, therapeutic laser, and Physio-Pilates. Her clinical interests include post-operative rehabilitation—having collaborated for several years with a local orthopaedic surgeon, including co-developing and presenting on post-operative hip (FAI and labral tears) and shoulder protocols. Outside of the clinic, Jen is a former competitive softball player who represented her teams at national and international events—and she still loves playing the game today; however, most of her time is spent being a full-time mom-cheerleader, chauffeur, and snack supplier for her two sports-obsessed boys—usually found at a rink, a field, or somewhere in between.

Erica joined the Hammonds Plains Physiotherapy team in November 2020. Erica was born and raised in St. John’s, Newfoundland. A graduate of Memorial University of Newfoundland, Erica completed a Bachelor of Kinesiology in 2008. Following this, they attended the Massage Therapy program at Eastern College where they had the opportunity to expand their knowledge and developed a passion for helping reduce pain and discomfort, and helping people return to daily life following an injury. Erica has also received training in cupping massage, which they often use to reduce myofascial restriction. Erica has been a practicing Massage Therapist since 2014 and has treated a wide array of injuries and conditions. Erica has a passion for helping clients reduce pain, improve or maintain mobility, and recover from injury. They are experienced with motor vehicle injuries, sports injuries, and work injuries. They are passionate about helping clients get back to their daily activities through treatment, education and proper homecare. Erica is a member in good standing with the Massage Therapy Association of Nova Scotia.

Adrienne joined the Hammonds Plains Physiotherapy team in 2015. Adrienne grew up in Ontario and moved to Nova Scotia in 2009. She took the massage therapy program and graduated from ICT Northumberland College in 2013. While in school she took courses in Myofascial release, Thai massage and pregnancy massage. Since then she has continued her education with Cupping, Indian Head Massage and Guasha Therapy courses. Adrienne feels that everyone can benefit from massage and with her rounded approach to treatments she will leave you with an experience to enjoy.

Becky joined Hammonds Plains Physiotherapy in May 2024. Becky was born and raised in Cape Breton Nova Scotia and has since made Hammonds Plains her forever home. She graduated with honors in 2019 with a diploma in Massage Therapy and has furthered her schooling with courses in Deep Tissue Massage, Maternity, post-surgical MLD, Migraines, Chronic Pain and Cupping. Becky enjoys working in multidisciplinary clinics and is very passionate when it comes to aiding her clients to recovery and relaxation. In her spare time, you can find Becky neck deep in laundry and dishes caring for her 2 beautiful little girls, and she wouldn’t have it any other way. Becky loves her home life on the lake, weekend hikes with the family and how beautiful the community is that surrounds her. While providing a welcoming, accepting environment, Becky hopes to share her love for her work with all her clients to achieve their goals!

Ronda is a distinguished graduate of the Canadian College of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine, where she earned her diploma in Acupuncture with a distinction in Clinical Excellence. She is a well respected member in good standing with the Canadian Association of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine. Currently, she serves on the board of directors for the Nova Scotia Chapter.
Ronda is deeply committed to providing a supportive environment that fosters healing. Since graduating, she has pursued additional training in trauma-informed care, cosmetic acupuncture, and merging Zang Fu with Channel diagnosis.
Having lived in the Hammonds Plains area for over 20 years, Ronda enjoys spending her free time with her two boys and her dogs, Marley and Bruce.
